Dear Patty,
I am really curious to know if I swallow semen will it be harmful to my body. I have heard that semen is really not harmful if swallowed, but I just want to make sure! Also, what can I do to make it taste better? Is there anything that he can eat or drink to help the taste?

What a great question! This is exactly the reason why so many women love Pure Romance! We are charged with giving women truthful information about sensitive subjects, including semen! Semen is a body fluid and therefore capable of containing bacteria or any number of STIs (sexually transmitted infections). Any woman, who is not in a committed relationship where they know for sure the HIV, Herpes or HPV status of their partner, or is not comfortable with their partners bill of health should use a condom to protect herself.
However, if you are in a committed relationship, or confident that your partner is disease free - there is no evidence that ingesting semen will in any way be harmful to your body. It is low in calories and fat. You can help your partner’s semen taste sweeter by encouraging him plenty of fruit the day “before” you engage in any intimate activity. It is important to remember to encourage him to stay away from green vegetables, such as brussel sprouts, broccoli and asparagus, as these leave his semen to taste awfully strong.
